For the UW Triebwerk, UW Merianstraße and UW Zellhausen projects, I was responsible for the overall planning of medium-voltage systems. The focus was on safe and economical implementation in 20 kV, seamless coordination with all parties involved, and a reliable tender and schedule basis. From the early concept phase to the design of gas-insulated stations and EU-wide tendering, I drove the projects forward in a structured manner – with clear processes, clean documentation and practical solutions for operation.
Key areas of expertise
- Specifying requirements: Analysing technical specifications – always aligned with the project goal.
- Designing medium-voltage stations: Designing gas-insulated network and substations in 20 kV and planning them in AutoCAD.
- Planning replacement buildings: Planning replacement construction measures in terms of technology and scheduling.
- Preparing tenders: Preparing complete tender documents, including detailed service descriptions for EU-wide tenders.
- Plan areas & rooms: Determine space requirements, create layouts and coordinate across trades.
- Coordinate suppliers: Coordinate with 20 kV system suppliers (e.g. Siemens, Betonbau) regarding interfaces, execution and deadlines.
- Secure costs: Provide reliable cost estimates as a basis for budget planning.
- Consider operational safety: Plan for pressure relief and safe routing in the event of a short circuit.
- Cover HOAI phases: Services in accordance with HOAI LP 2–6.
- Manage time and progress: Create and update project plans; systematically maintain LOP lists and meeting reports.
